Each day we encounter negativity, it could be something as simple as someone knocking unapologetically into us in the street or something more, such as a clash with a close friend. It is important during trying times to conduct oneself with poise and determination, rather than allowing negativity to infiltrate our demeanour and be passed on in our own actions.
The most productive way to channel any negativity directed at us is to turn it around and find motivation to change our current reality into something more inspiring. Consider how you can remove yourself from the firing line of negativity and ensure you don't endure the same unconstructive energy again. Also recognise how recieving negative energy makes you feel and use this knowledge to be sure that you do not leave those around you feeling drained because of your own behaviour.

Be better. Use this time of difficulty as a reason to re-evaluate your own demanour and strive for a bit of self-improvement.
