4. Pair your vest with a pair of blue denim jeans and a tucked in collared ruffled shirt. Add a few strings of costume jewellery for a casual yet classic & classy look. Grab a few vintage accessories & you're good to go for a trip to the art gallery. Oh la!

I like it! Waistcoats have never really been my thing, but they've started to appeal to me recently.

Vixel: Yeah I wasn't too into waistcoats until I went to Mardi Gras earlier this year and used one as part of my costume .... since then i've developed a bit of a love affair!

Mermaid: Oh yes I do! She is my #1 tv/celebrity girl crush.

Miss Corrine: I know hey? If only we could reach into the screen and grab out the pretty clothes, yeah?

Annie: Me too!

I most commonly wear my waistcoat a la your 3rd look, although I also wear it a lot with a singlet top and short denim shorts, for those hot sydney days in the middle of summer when no other form of layering is possible!

Omg.. waistcoats are totally all the rage here in Milan. Girls even wear them to clubs.. I haven't gotten into them yet cos don't think they'd look good over a big bust.. and plus I'd feel waitressy? heee.. Cute polyvores though x

Quite useful -- it really showcases how even though this kind of top can seem very niche, it's actually quite versatile.
