Faith in God; Embracing the Universe: the guiding force for so many people is devotion to a higher authority, in whatever form that may take. So what about the rest: those who aren't religious and feel that deeming themselves a child of the universe is all a little too new-age?

It's no secret: you don't need to embrace any higher power to win at life (!)

That's not to say there is anything wrong with having faith or embracing the Universe, but it is important to acknowledge that the underlying ideas of positivity and morality can exist without being reinforced by a higher being or institution.

We are all incredibly unique and so when it comes to personal belief and faith there simply can not be a 'one-size-fits-all' option; it's called diversity - people just choose to brand their beliefs differently, but the nuts and bolts of any belief system can apply with or without slapping a label on it.

Let's look at just a few self-belief fundamentals; and not call it anything but a fabulous way to live:

Positivity attracts the same, you know that if you go out into the world with a smile, if you offer a helping hand where it's needed, if you do good for no reason other than knowing it's right that you're going to get a whole lot of positive coming back at you. You also know that if you go the other way and exude major attitude or self-pity, you'll attract negative people and experiences. Happy people don't want to be dragged down by constant negativity, ambitious like-minded people mingle and share ideas with each other - don't watch them, fix your attitude and get amongst it.

To say you will put out into the Universe what you want hope to get back is simply a way of repackaging the concept of ambition, positivity and drive - & you can have those three things no matter how you want to label it. Your ambition, your positivity, your drive all exist because you choose to focus on being the best you. It's about enabling yourself to be the best and realising that only you can make a fabulous life happen; it won't happen to you and no one will do it for you.

You are the master of your own destiny and you know by now that life will not happen TO you, amazing career prospects will not offer themselves up on a silver platter and that you truly have the ability to choose where it is you want to be in life and that all you need to do to make it happen is get pro-active, make a plan and start now.

Go forth & forgo the labels: Make Magic; Live Large; Dream Big and do it anyway you want!

What do you believe in?

Wonderful concept put into words so eloquently. There are no excuses it is up to YOU to live the life you want or choose. OK there are some outside influences which may prohibit or retard the pace at which you can achieve your goals but it all comes down to you and your desire to achieve. To a certain extent the higher being is part of you and I sometimes think that it is what we consider to be our soul or conscience.
To forth and live life to the fullest!
