We all have them, those little quirks that we like to keep on the down low or pursuits we take on with intentions perhaps not as they seem, but it's all harmless fun, our eccentricities make us super fabulous & unique beings, keep rejecting the boring & embracing your guilty pleasures!
Do you ever:
Go to a Veronicas gig, not because you like their music (ok, maybe a LITTLE bit because you like their music) but more so for the 2 hour perve on Jess and Lisa.
Sometimes, just sometimes, tell your mates you've got plans; and leave out the bit about those plans being to stay in blogging and laughing at the latest Chelsea Handler clips on you tube.
Find breaking up with the ex's mum more difficult than breaking up with the ex.
Buy a bottle of Starbucks caramel drizzle sauce with absolutely no intention of using it in your latte.
Secretly get off on wearing sexy thigh high suspenders under your boring corporate gear.
Have Celine Dion on your mp3 player, and actually listen to it, & not just when it comes onto your shuffle.
Look forward to doing your groceries (look.at.my.bargains!)
Stomp around your flat in just your knickers & heels, doing laundry CAN be sexy & glamorous.
End up with half the amount of cupcakes that the box said you'd get because some how that much batter just didn't quite make the trip from the bowl to the oven.
Put on your best posh male English accent and talk along with the narrator while watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show for the 3000th time.
What are your biggest guilty pleasures? Go on, you know you are just dying to share ;)

DEFINITELY guilty of the thigh highs. Love 'em! Especially under a seemingly-tame getup.

So agree with the boyfriend's mum thing - I think in my last-ditch argument with Ex-S I yelled out "Why the hell did you introduce me to your parents then?" LOL. And I'm still in sporadic contact with another ex's mum (he's okay with that, :D)

So many, lol. Saved By the Bell on Saturday mornings and doing this when I should be taking care of my house!

Singing really, really loudly when no one else is home... I can't help myself! If I know the words, then I'm belting them out!

I love this post.
I play hairstyles in the bath with my son - we use a tonne of shampoo.
I keep my chocolate in the freezer. I tell everyone I like it cold, but really it's because the kids never look in there!
I still sleep cuddling teddies or my pillow or a blankie. - At 3 February 2010 at 18:48 , anne said...

Oh man, I love this post! I especially am guilty of the one about blowing my friends off for a night of blogging and the high-heels-and-knickers one (nothing gets you in the perfect flirty sexy mood like this one!)
But I must admit that I've never tried the last one. Will definitely be doing that as soon as I buy a pair of thigh high because Tim Curry always makes me so jealous of his :)) - At 3 February 2010 at 18:49 , em said...

Oh I join the club of blowing friends off to watch movies and surf the internet. I love it:)
Also, staying in bed the whole morning when I have class until three.
xo. em.
