For years us girls have struggled with a makeup mini crisis: endure the mess of hand application of liquid foundations or the hassle of lugging about expensive makeup brushes to gain a long lasting even finish. French makeup company Bourjois has come up with the perfect answer for the busy yet aesthetically aware girl on the go in the form of their latest offering, Brush Foundation. Coming in a range of shades with one bound to suit your skin colouring, struggle no longer with this top makeup choice.

Put simply, Bourjois's brush foundation is a liquid foundation with built in brush. It's easy to apply; using a click button at the base of the handle to release a small portion of foundation straight onto the brush tip. What results is a well blended matte finish without the mess of traditional liquid foundations. By avoiding application with using your finger tips you are effectively ensuring a longer life for your foundation and therefore better value for your hard earned dollar! Application straight from the brush to your face means that no foundation is wasted soaking into your hands.

The convenient and attractive packaging of the product reflects the makeup itself, with its feminine baby pink print on an edgy black backdrop. It is small enough to pop in your handbag but not so small that it would get lost amongst the clutter of your beauty cabinet - or run out after just a few applications.

Just in case you need any further persuasion as to the merits of this great new foundation, Bourjois is a company with a conscious; they assure their public that they do not test their products on animals. Bourjois Brush foundation is available at pharmacies & department stores at a price comparable and competitive to the rest of the high street style makeup market, the key different with this product is that you need not worrying about the expense and bother of buying & cleaning brushes. For more information, see the official website.

I don't consider myself a neat freak or something but how would you go about cleaning the brush without damaging the product?

Hi Marisol - A simple way of cleaning the brush would be to use a small amount of makeup remover on a cotton makeup pad. Alternatively, wet a cotton makeup pad and press against brush - this will remove the foundation from the brush and keep the brush clean and ready for use.
