As a major, major magazine addict Katie, I can COMPLETELY relate to your article! Those are really, really lovely tips, so thank-you very much! I used to regularly cull all my magazines, but honestly, I find myself struggling to do that these days, so I think your tips will help me enormously! Thanks again Miss Katie, you are awesome! (Have added your link to 'Miss Corrine's' Links I Love page too! ) :)

If I'm especially fond of an issue, I hoard it. I do this very rarely, but I've got a couple from when I was 13 years-old or so, and it's really neat to look back on them now--it's like a culture snapshot.
And vintage magazines at garage sales can be soo cool to look through... - At 31 January 2010 at 17:53 , jasmine said...

I usually just save all my magazines in a pile. But some of your tips were really interesting. I especially liked the idea of hanging the best ones on the wall on a piece of string.
I also liked the idea of making a scrapbook of the best articles. That's a good idea. Honestly, these magazines take up a lot of space on their own. - At 31 January 2010 at 17:54 , Torie Michelle said...

Love these tips.
I usually cut out pictures and phrases and glue them to posterboard to make collages. Buy a frame (optional). Artwork for my dorm room and apartment. - At 31 January 2010 at 17:54 , Lady Smaggle said...

Oh I'm a mega mag addict. It makes me feel terrible. I should donate them to hospitals. And some of them are utter rubbish that they were a waste of money in the first place!

Wendy: Thanks :)
Corrine: Thank you thank you thank you, you are too lovely! Us magazine addicts need to stick together! Im glad you found the tips handy - I'm subscribed to your RSS & will be sure to link you up when I get around to compiling my links page. Thanks so much for linking to TL, really appreciate the support!
Annie Spandex: Oh I am the same - there are just some issues you can not take with scissors to, aren't there? I like to keep my issues of Frankie.
Jasmine: Thank you so much! Thats a great idea to frame pretty pictures, good work.
Trisha: Glad you enjoyed the tips... I think the whole reason I started scrapbooking articles was because of the whole space issue, magazines really can clutter the book shelf.
Torie Michelle: Thanks :) Collages are a great idea, fun to make & look great on your walls.
Lady Smaggle: Right there with you... I often get massive guilt trips over the amount I've spent on mags... but donating to needy places does go a way to helping ease the guilt. - At 31 January 2010 at 17:55 , Nicola said...

Great ideas - I especially love the last one! I've never thought to do that.

I am a HUGE magazine junki. Since I'm moving away from home for college, I grabbed all my magazines and teared the pages i loved the most: articles, ads, spreads, and put them all together in a binder and it's like over a thousand pages. So the rest of the magazines is staying home but I'm taking the binder with me, it's already packed and everything and it'll be very useful for my career!
