Winter Must Haves & Lust Haves

| Subscribe Email Kate   bloglovin

Winter is an excuse to add marshmallows to your hot chocolate, to snuggle under your doona and watch hours of trashy television, to don gumboots and stomp around in puddles, to enjoy a warm glass of mulled wine by an open log fire, to hit the ski slopes and play in the snow.... so why then do so many people dread this cosy season?

Winter should be celebrated in all it's frosty glory, so chin up & dress up! Chilly mornings can be combated with sexy scarves & cute coats. Rainy days can be kept at bay by choosing a fab umbrella and some big boots. Winter is about layering up and accessorising: gloves, leg warmers and berets. Forget midriff bearing & fake glow tans, winter is about being fashionably & comfortably fabulous. Without further ado, unveiling just a few winter Must Haves & Lust Haves...

For the inner rock chick. Black skinny legs & a fitted leather bomber are wardrobe staples & for rain stomping fun, just add gumboots!

For the pretty girly girl. Just because it's cold doesn't mean it's time to put away your favourite skirts. Layer them over stockings and leg warmers. Add your favourite heeled ankle boots and you're good to go.

For the casual yet chic girl. Nipping out to town for a latte & a spot of shopping can and should be a stylish occasion. With the help of a fitted military style blazer, cute grey beret for hiding crazy winter hair & some comfortable black flat boots to run around in!

So pile on the layers, pop on your favourite boots and get out there and enjoy the frosty weather in style & comfort. Try heading to your favourite bar for a wine by a log fire, dancing in the rain & splashing in puddles with your favourite girlfriends or staying in for a dvd marathon with hot chocolate and marshmallows or a tea party with warm home made scones. There are tons of ways to make the most of the colder seasons, what are some of yours?
